The four of us moved on up to British Columbia Canada. We drove aboot (Canadian) 95 miles to Surrey BC and are camping in a private campground nicely situated on a creek. Actually, this is Don and Jeanne's campsite but their rig couldn't fit so we swapped spots. We drove to the shore around lunch time. White Rock is just up the road and we strolled the sidewalks looking at the Pacific Ocean and for a lunch spot. We had an EXCELLENT lunch at a local fish and chips place then went for a walk on the beach. Not at all like east or west coast beaches in the US. The tide goes way out and it is not warm like we are used to at the beach. But there were a number of people in bathing suits and wading in the warmer beach pools. We came back to camp, had a combined Orilio/VanDuzerStrachan dinner and a campfire. All very nice. Canada is EXPENSIVE. A 12 pack of beer is $26-$28!! Needless to say we will be savoring that brew. Off to explore Vancouver tomorrow. Enjoy the pics.
