Today was a day to chase waterfalls. Started out in Robert Treman Stat Park. The first waterfall was by Tremans mill. The 3 story mill is still standing has many story boards explaining how every thing worked. There is a small fall just above the mill and this is where the trace for the mill started.
Then we hiked down to Lucifer Falls, not a bad downhill hike through the gorge. But then we crossed the bridge to hike the upper rim trail. It starts out with steps taking you up over 300 feet on switch back stairs. Best pics of Lucifer falls are from the rim trail.
Next visited Enfield Falls just a short hike from the parking lot. Had a picnic after that.
Then we tried to find Lick Brook Falls, that turned out to be a NOGO, 2 trails one up and one down, falls are 1 mile on one of the trails. There was no indication witch trail to take so we voted to skip this one. The last fall of the day was Buttermilk falls. Easy walk from parking lot.
