|Day 22. Cottonwood RV Park. Stayed at this park last trip. This time we got a primo site. Backed up to the lake. Only problem is it's only 15 amps and no water. For the view, I'll take it. Very picturesque. Drive was short today which I like. By the Kluane mountains which are really beautiful. They are home to the world's largest non polar alpine Icefields. Didn't say how big it is. Saw a sign that said "vegetation Destruction". They were clearing the sides of the road, munching down small trees. Destruction Bay was a maintenance area when they were building the Alaska Highway. A big storm came thru and destroyed most of their equipment, thus the name. We are meeting up with Karen and Wade on Friday for 2 weeks. They have rented a motorhome. My postings may be limited, but I'll try to catch up when they leave.
