Tetsa River

Looking SW

Camped by the Tetsa river2

Karen got to see a bear today! He was standing on his hind legs eating berries. He was camera shy though so she didn't get a picture. We saw lots of beautiful country today again. We got a whiff of what we thought was smoke from all of the forest fires they have been having and drove through an old fire that had burned last year. Some of this part of the highway was under construction which was pretty messy after they watered down the dirt work but it was better than the dust of which we had plenty too. At milepost 372 we stopped for the night at a turnout on the Tetsa river. Nice peaceful quiet camp with the river babbling us to sleep. We had coffee brewed from water from the Tetsa which tasted mighty fine. No photos can capture the beauty we are seeing. Today was a windy, warm sunny day. (pics)
