|We departed Teslin, headed for Whitehorse, it's summer solstice, the longest day of the year, yeah!! We had lite rain on & off most of the day, stopped for coffee and yet another "world famous" cinnamon bun, seems like that's the thing up here, works for us!! We stopped at a beautiful place called Johnson's Crossing, located on the Teslin River, and a beautiful view of the river and the bridge, unfortunately neither of us thought to take a picture...hmmm... We arrived at Whitehorse rather early in the day and got stocked up with food and other supplies. Honestly, I don't know how people can afford to live in Canada, the prices of food are quite high. On to cheerier thoughts, the wildflowers are all around us, especially the wild roses.
