Tom's, where we had dinner

We woke to the pitter patter of rain on the roof. It eased off and we decided to get up. We had breakfast and set off to see if the copy shop was open. (See sign in first picture.) It wasn't! Enquiries at the liquor store next door revealed that the owner had been ill and usually showed up about noon. We decided to head north to Warrenton where we had seen a Staples the other day.

On the way, the travel agent called saying she had emailed the information we had been looking for. We were able to tell her we were on our way to get the document attended to. We got there and they were able to help us. We got the document copied, signed and scanned. They had WiFi, so we were able to email it to the travel agent and look at what she had sent, but it was not what we were looking for, so we tried calling, but she was not in. We left a message.

We stopped at Seaside and got the groceries we needed and returned to the trailer. When we checked the email again, we had received what we needed. We had lunch then discussed the material. It relates to the excursions from the river cruise in France that we are taking later this year. We decided on the selections we wanted and emailed the information back to the travel agent. Hopefully that is all that is needed now.

We had a lazy afternoon reading and doing puzzles. I looked at campgrounds along the coast on the Internet. The rain had tapered off and it was not too bad an afternoon, but we decided not to do too much.

We went out later and went into Cannon Beach and had dinner at a fish and chip shop. It was very good. We walked up and down the main street then came back to the trailer and had a lazy evening.

Tomorrow we set off south and hope to end up somewhere around Newport. Christine recalls a campground we have seen near there and we will try and see if we can locate it again and may stay there is the reality lives up to the memory. Our experience in Tillamook does not augur well!
