Ann and I joined the group for breakfast in the same meeting room. I had an egg and biscuits with meat gravy. We visited for a little while, then I went to the office to get a refund for the days paid but not going to be used (we left 3 days early).

We loaded the SUV, packed up the coach and headed out.

The trip from Kamiah back to Missoula, MT was very slow - construction in numerous places plus uphill grades and curves not to be taken faster than 40-45 mph. We made better time on US93 north to Kalispell. However, we drove through a number of smaller cities on the way, which also slowed us down. I was on the road from 10 AM to about 7 PM. It was a long day.

When we arrived, the RV park office was closed, so we'll register in the morning. We settled in for the night.

I checked my email and found a trip log from my daughter Kathy. She and family are also on the road and are destined for a KOA RV Park near Whitefish, MT. We are about 30 miles east of Whitefish, near the West entrance to Glacier NP. I called her and agreed to call in the morning when they get settled in. We'll see if we can get together. Go figure!

Ann checked her email and learned that her daughter, on active duty in the Navy, has been promoted to Commander. She is so excited and proud.
