One last shot of Crazy Horse as we leave for today, hopefully...

Today Marcie, Lou and I went to Crazy Horse for lunch. Wow, it seems that many of my recent posts all pertain to eating doesn't it?? Trust me, between the baking and the unusual eating, I'm cringing every morning when I step on the ole scale! Think I'll start checking weekly, which is recommended anyway...that way I can walk a lot & do Wii Fit more between the weigh-ins! LOL

Lou and I have never eaten at the Laughing Water Restaurant and wanted to give it a try before we leave. Great choice! We enjoyed it very much. The restaurant itself is very pretty and our table provided a nice view of the monument as well. The service was good and the prices affordable. We would recommend it, in case you are interested in knowing what we think!

Most of you know that I prefer to go to Crazy Horse in the evenings, especially to view the laser show. But, the summer season seems to be winding down and today there were very few folks to deal with. So we took the time to browse around a bit. Wow, there are many interesting and unusual things to see. The quilts are amazing and the artists showing their wares have so many beautiful things, who can choose? Marcie selected a beautiful necklace. And Lou bought a pretty bracelet. I resisted, even though there were many things I would have loved to purchase. My hubby has gifted me with lots of jewelry in years past and I just don't seem to change it all that often. So even though I loved a lot of it, our budget survived today!

Afterward we stopped at two of the local shops in town just to browse. Many more interesting and beautiful things. Much of it created here in the Hills. If we owned a cabin somewhere I would have a field day! Cool stuff...much of it not really suited to our 5'er. But neat stuff just the same. You know how we girls love to look!

Jack and Barb are heading back to Ohio in the morning, so the four of us are having dinner at Cattleman's this evening. Our 'Last Supper' together. We will miss them immensely. Good friends made as a result of this wonderful lifestyle....We are so blessed!
