A wander around Kings Lynn this afternoon. The river Ouse was quite shallow due to it being low tide
it was one of England's most important ports from the 12th century.
Visitor moorings were interesting.

The opening bridge is also interesting, we're staying at a B & B just down the road from it and are hoping before we leave tomorrow we might see it being opened.
 We went into Kings Lynn Minster to look at the beautiful windows
and organ.
which is huge. It was founded in 1101 as a Benedictine Priory.
Everywhere is so full of history, such a lot to see.
