We've gone to the Tampa RV Super Show every time we have been in Florida for the winter. Obviously we think it's one of the best; that's why we keep coming back. There are always many new RV's to examine, but so far we've always decided that none were better for us than what we already own. Hopefully, that will be true this year as well. For me the draw for this show is all the gizmos and gadgets that are also on display and for sale. You would think by now we would have everything we need and we do, but there always seems to be a clever gadget or better way of doing something. This is always an occasion we can report on new developments in the RV world for our RV Navigator podcast listeners.
We hope to meet up with old RV travel friends there. The couple who lead the caravan we took to Maritime Canada will be working there for the caravan company. The couple we toured to Alaska with plans to stop by. A friend from home will spend a day shopping with us as he looks for his next rig. Usually we run into a few RV Navigator podcast listeners.
The show is scheduled to start on Wednesday so we booked a campsite on the grounds for the duration. Then we found out a group from The Great Outdoors campground had permission to enter the park a day early so they could hit the exhibits as soon as the show opens. They had a few cancellations and after many phone calls to many people, we got permission to join the group. Hopefully, it will all work out and we will get a chance to meet a few more folks from TGO as well as enjoying the show for the maximum time and/or until we have seen it all.
