Golfing Nipawin

Connie's Huge Fish

After Reese’s arrival on Monday July 28 we spent the week golfing, fishing and relaxing.

- Tuesday: The morning was spent hanging out at the campgrounds, Reese & Grandpa played a little bit of football. The afternoon was spent on the river doing a little fishing.

- Wednesday: Grandma Connie, Reese & Grandpa went golfing at the Nipawin Evergreen golf course, Reese played the front 9, Grandma the back 9 while Grandpa played all 18.

- Thursday: 3 of us went fishing on the river, Grandma Connie caught the biggest fish so far (over 30” around 11+ lbs).

- Friday: We went golfing at a new 9 hole golf course called Rolling Pines, the course is located ½ way between Nipawin and Tobin Lake Resort. This was the first time Reese played his ball from start to finish on each of the 9 holes. From there we went to the beach at Tobin Lake where Reese enjoyed a dip in the water as it was extremely hot. The evening was spent back at the campgrounds as Reese was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his mother, Kevin, Taylor & Austin as well as Amanda, Renie, Rylan & Taylor for the weekend.
