Had complimentary breakfast then to the bus station where we discovered our info from yesterday was wrong, only buses to Jessore leave every hour. The only direct bus to the border(Bhonapore/Bonapur) leaves at 11am! So we take (are taken, literally) a local - stops every 100 meters, ha - and arrive 2 hours later. Right on another sloooow local to Banopur border by noon and because our LP says no exit fee we spend our last few taka on bananas, pomegranatesm, cookies, and tea. Big mistake! They do charge an exit fee so we have to use some of our very limited rupees to get out and across by 1:30, a motor rickshaw to Bangaon RR station. Tickets to Dum Dum Cantt, train leaves in 20 minutes and arrives DumDum ina down pour. A tuk tuk from he e to Hotel Gateway Continental where our paltry few rupees will just make it to the end of our Indian visit thanks to complimentary breakfast and free shuttle to the airport tomorrow!
