Larry & Lee Ann's Journey travel blog

Birthday dress from Mexico, cute huh!

I see you!

I can touch my head/hair...

Give that girl a kiss!

Mom & Dad brought me to this neat park!

Cousin Germaine is breaking me in...

Oooohhhh, I love it!

Isn't this sweet???

Looks like they had a nice time keeping cool in the desert!

We had a nice surprise this morning. Tim & Crystal from Inflatableboats4less stopped by to visit for a bit. They were out riding their new Honda bike this morning and stopped in to Custer to pick up some buffalo at the local market. Some of the best in the area. Tim read in our blog yesterday that we were going fishing at Pactola later this week, so we are now meeting them there in the morning. We've been looking for an opportunity to spend some time together, so this works out perfectly. Their new bike is really nice, red, our favorite color!

Larry is gone to get fuel and worms as I write this and then we are headed up the Needles Highway. It will be our first visit there this year, looking forward to it. In the meantime, I received some new pics of Miss Jasmine yesterday and just have to share a few with you. She is wearing the dress we bought her in Mexico for her birthday and playing with a follow-along music center. It instructs you to touch your eyes, ears, nose, hair etc. And to give yourself a kiss, which she does quite well! I understand it is one of her favorite toys. The other pics were taken at a new water park that just opened near the kids. Looks cool and refreshing to me! What a Cutie...

We attended the 2 hours of FREE music downtown last night and it was great as usual. A beautiful evening to sit outdoors listening to songs from every genre possible. And, the harmonica playing was pretty awesome too! I made spaghetti for dinner and Lou provided a salad and garlic bread. So we arrived with full, satisfied tummy's! A nice way to relax here in the beautiful Black Hills!
