|The weather calmed down and we headed to Casper, WY via US 20 to I-25. We stayed at Casper East RV Park. Casper is where my older brother, Pat, and his three kids live; Kevin Gamroth, Brian Gamroth and Michelle Bartosh. We got to spend a lot of time with all their families. Our last day in Casper took us to the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center sitting up on the hill above Casper. On and near this location the historic Oregon, California, Bozeman, Mormon and Pony Express trails passed. Another excellent Center and worth the time to visit.
One morning we woke up to 2 inches of snow, but the day warmed up and the snow was gone in no time.
It had been twenty years since we had been to Casper. While the city certainly changed so did our families. It was so good to "catch up" with all of them and we loved our time here.
