Marty, Cindy and Abby's 2012 Motorhome Trip travel blog

Strasburg, CO - Craig CO

Today we covered the prettier part of Colorado. We went through Denver and Loveland and then up to Estes Park. Thank you friends at North for the Park Pass which we used again today. Then we proceeded through the Rocky Mountain National Park. We reached a height of 12,000 ft. and maintained levels of 9,000 and 10,000. We saw lots of Elk and even a Fox. Traveling on the not so traveled highways makes it hard to find a decent campground, but we managed to do so again tonight. Another long day. Tomorrow we should get back to highway 80 which will be easier to navigate our stops. This national park was gorgeous, Estes Park was fun as was Steamboat Springs.

Go Hawks!
