This is the scenery we had the whole drive around Flathead Lake.

Another short drive to Polson, Montana (60 miles). We are staying at The Eagle's Nest RV Resort for 3 nights. We arrived here on the 29th and signed in for 2 nights and changed our minds to stay for another day. We will head north toward the Canadian border June 1st.
We love this RV park and one more day will be great. The weather is good and we have some chores to do before crossing over to Canada. Such as adding the Canadian plan to our phone, washing the motor-home and car, laundry and so on.
This area is called Montana's Mission Valley. Flathead Lake is the largest natural lake west of the Mississippi River and is absolutely beautiful. We drove around the lake and had lunch at Big Fork, a cute tourist town on the lake. The drive around the lake is about 60 miles and you follow the lake the whole trip. The small towns along the lake are charming. What a beautiful place this is!
The RV park had a pot luck this evening which was a lot of fun. It is actually a park where the city folks park their RV for the summer. There is a golf course adjacent to the park and all the lake activities to attract them here. We were lucky to get a spot. We were told it's a little early for the season. I think what that means it's still too cold. The owners put on a fireworks show on the grounds this evening.
It hit 60 degrees today. We loved it. It's the first time over 60 since we left Arizona.
