End of another beautiful day!

We visited Kartchner Caverns,Tombstone and Bisbee,Az. this weekend. It was a beautiful weekend with warm temps in the70's.Sorry you folks in the rest of the country are experiencing the coldest temps in years.Kartchner Caverns was very interesting, however they did not allow us to take pictures inside the caves.Last year we visited Luray Caverns in Virginia and were allowed to take pictures..oh well. Then it was on to Tombstone to visit the O.K.Corral,and watch a shootout with Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday.Nice little town but too much of a tourist trap for us.The best place was Bisbee, where we stayed at a wonderful motel,Jonquil,in this quaint mining community just a few miles from the Mexican border. Our motel room was the cleanest and most comfortable place that we have ever spent a night. The next morning we toured the Queen Mine, donning rain coats, hard hats and mining lights.Hopped aboard a mine train that took us one mile under the mountain where they used to mine copper and gold.No we didn't find any!!
