And there's another bus coming the other way!!

Good crossing on the ferry and then stayed two nights at Canterbury, in the Park and Ride. Good place to park, with services available and the free bus in to town. Had a stroll around the city centre – a beautiful place. On the second day we caught buses and visited Margate, Ramsgate and Sandwich. The first was pretty old and grubby, nothing much changed in forty years. Ramsgate was more interesting, with the harbour and old part of the town. Sandwich was beautiful, lovely old buildings, lots to look at. The double decker buses just manage to squeeze through between the buildings and around the corners.

A large group of Italians parked when we got back – 12-15 motorhomes at least. All ages. They had a large table outside, loaded with food and drink. They asked me to take their photo – I was then their best friend, plied with wine and cheese. Good fun. Sat outside with the English couple next to us and had a pleasant evening with them.
