|Today we attended the Longreach Baptist Church. The service was good and took us back about 10 years with the choruses and songs we sang. The sunday school kids stay in for the first hour of the service before heading off to lessons while the sermon is being preached. They interviewed a young man who had just returned from 5 months at Watoto in Uganda. What an impressive young man, and what an experience he had living and working there.
We found a man selling prawns and fish direct from the trawlers, so prawn rolls were the order of the day for lunch.
An easy afternoon as the temperature reached 32 degs today. We both had an afternoon sleep.
The Caravan park is huge, all dirt and no grass. There is a pool and some spa pools. So grateful that we have our own ensuite as it would be a very long walk to the ammenities block.
