|Today we decided to take in a late afternoon matinee. We haven't been to a movie in awhile & it is one of our favorite things to do. I've been wanting to see 'Max', a loosely based film about a dog that helped US Marines in Afghanistan. In the film, Max returns to the U.S. and is adopted by his handler's family after suffering a traumatic experience. Larry & I both give it a thumbs up :)
Afterward we had dinner at the Texas Roadhouse and, as usual, we were not disappointed. The food is always delicious, the service is great & it's a really fun atmosphere. Not a great place for chatting as it can be pretty noisy when the place is full. But we didn't go to chat! We started with an onion 'blossum', followed by a nice salad, steak cooked to perfection & a loaded baked 'tater...Yummy! We'll definitely be back again!
We took a few minutes to visit Wal-Mart before heading back to the campground, arriving home about 9:30pm. Not our favorite time to travel as the wildlife is out & about. There are plenty of deer in the area which can be a problem. But there are numerous little one's & I just think they are so darn cute! Just have to drive carefully :)
