It was a great day on Simpson Reef – we spoke to over 200 people, and many were excited to see and learn. We had the new California Sea Lion skull for display, and that was a hit. There was a brief time of drizzle, only about 5 minutes, and later in the afternoon, the sun came out and I was done to a t-shirt – very nice and warm and no wind. Even with the good weather, however, we did not see any whales.
Dinner was brats on the grill with cauliflower and creamed peas. We walked the loops, stopping to talk, and then relaxed for the evening.
