It was a very busy day at work today – spent a lot of time with folks interested in birding, and there was only Rachel on duty with us and she had lots of work to do. We had a great time sharing with the guests.

Our plan was to drive out to Eagle Lake this evening, but Vim, our Dutch friend who works at the RV park, came over while we were having dinner outdoors and enjoyed a beer with us. He talked for a long time, and we had no energy left to drive out to Eagle Lake and hike.

It has been a great day.
