Horsey neighbor at Fairgrounds

Golden path to Quartzsite

Desert blooms

Yellow, purple and orange blooms.

We spent a week in Tucson to get Dick all squared away at the Veterans Hospital there. He moved all his records from Albany, NY so we don't have to see snow when seeing his primary care doctor. We stayed at the Pima County Fairgrounds which has full hookup RV sites for $100 a week which is quite a bargain. There were horse events going on. Not a bad stop if you're planning to go site seeing around Tucson. We also checked out some other local campgrounds for future reference since we will be spending time in Tucson at least once a year to get all of Dick's checkups.

On the way back to Quartzsite we enjoyed all the lovely blooms along the road. We are settled back in to our camp in the desert. Getting some sun and relaxing. Dick has been puttering around the coach doing maintenance, Paula has been quilting and doing some embroidery.
