It drizzled on & off all day Friday so we stayed in our jammies & watched a bit of TV, read & caught up on FB & other computer 'things'. But late in the afternoon it looked might we might get a few minutes of clear sky & I wanted to visit the Face Rock Creamery so we took a quick shower & headed downtown.

After browsing a bit & sampling a lot, lol, we ended up purchasing a bag of smoked cheddar cheese curds & a block of cranberry walnut cheddar. Can't wait to share it with you Mom, you are going to love it :) Then we hit the Cranberry Sweets & More store down the road & after a bit of browsing & a lot of sampling again, lol, bought a hunk of handmade chocolate walnut fudge. Nope, not for me, for my hubby. He does love his sweets. Me, not so much although I may indulge in a bite or two of his hunk as it is pretty darn good.

The sun was out by now, although it ducked in & out of the heavy cloud cover frequently. Since we were already out we decided to head over to the opposite jetty from our visit yesterday. Onyx was dying to get her walk on the beach so Larry hooked her up & off they went. I shot a few pics, then joined them for a bit. A nice lady offered to take a pic of the three of us, thank you very much. We're not often in pics together as I'm usually the 'shooter'!

We enjoyed an hour or so there before heading back to the house for a bite of dinner, a bit more TV & finally hitting the sack earlier than usual as we were moving on early Saturday. Destination, Brookings. Time to visit family & my favorite beach on the planet :)
