Marching rabble

25th April

Early call at 5.00 to attend the dawn service in Mildura, very large turnout of about 500 people.A cold blowy morning, winter is in the air. After the service we returned to the R.S.L. Club for a well presented breakfast of scrambled eggs on toast, sausage, bacon & tomato. Very well organised, they served 420 breakfasts in 35 mins. Back to camp to fill in a couple of hours before returning to town to assemble for the march, as Rob, Darryl & Greg were marching. An excellent day was had by all. The organisation by the Mildura club is to be commended.

26th April

Once again cloudy & windy. Doing the pre-packing in readiness for departure tomorrow. Finally leaving N.S.W. behind us,heading to Moorook Reserve near Renmark.
