Dick and Karen left after breakfast this morning. We took Rusty and Ranger with us to the Canyonlands National Park today. It is Utah’s largest national park, was established in 1964 and is 527 sq. miles. This area began to form over 300 million years ago when the Colorado and Green Rivers carved their way through the sandstone and rock. The erosion created canyons nearly 1,500 feet deep. The two rivers divide the park into three sections.
