Georgia and North Carolina

We left home on Monday, May 4, 2010 for our road trip to Boston, Massachusetts to spend time and to see Scott and Kiti's new house in Quincy.

Our first stop was in Georgia. We drove to the Savannah area to visit Ken and Gloria. We wanted them to see the new RV and to visit them for the night.

Bill and I left the next morning to drive the Laurinburg, North Carolina to visit my college friend, Jason, and David. It has been over 35 years since seeing Jason. We had a wonderful time with Jason and David at their home. Jason and David prepared a scrumptious meal. It was nice to share some time with my old friend.

We left the following morning to head to Williamsburg and Jamestown, Virginia, the birthplace of our nation. Our first stop was going to be Williamsburg. The scenery on our drive to Williamsburg was so picturesque. We got settled in our campsite and prepared for our next day of touring.
