Today, we left Pittwater at 5.30am as planned, with only two hands on deck, that being Dave and Jo, while Amy and Jim slept in. The swell was much bigger today, which left Jo down for the count for much of the day, poor critter. We made good headway today though, and instead of mooring in Newcastle, pushed on further to Port Stephens, which is where we are now. While it was difficult negotiating the final part of today's trip in the fading light, we are here safe and sound now. We are all looking forward to a sleep-in (and HOT showers) tommorow as no sailing is planned, yay rest day!
