Arriving on Khao San Road.

First cocktail bucket of the night.

Four buckets later...!

Aboard a Tuk Tuk.

Temple at Wat Pho.

Buddha statues at Wat Pho.

It is warm. The air is sticky and thick with smog. But there is something about Bangkok that we can't help but fall in love with. There is an energy running through the city that doesn't rest. No matter what time of day, the roads are full of people and traffic.

There are quieter routes through the city, down side roads and through small temples. We take a boat along the river to visit the reclining Buddha at Wat Pho and see the Grand Palace. We enjoy the sun setting over the water before returning to the tumult of Khao San Road after dark.

Bright lights and loud music fill the already crowded street. Every street vendor and bartender tries to entice us in. As we walk along, I cant help but smile at the chaos of it all. Bangkok is a frenzied blend of tourism and culture. One which I am very excited to be returning to.
