Arriving on the Island of Ko Chang, Gulf of Thailand

Found the bus terminal (Bangkok)

Public ferry to Ko Chang

Sorry folks, escaping a rainy, cold winter in London and heading off to SE Asia again. A short-ish trip this time, back for Spring and early March. Tomorrow, we're "looking forward" to a bit of a marathon journey starting at 5.00am in London, followed by a 17 hour flight to Bangkok with a transit in Abu Dhabi. After that, it's straight out of the airport, finding the public bus terminal and an immediate six hour public bus journey plus 40 minute ferry back to the island of Koh Chang in the Gulf of Thailand. Here, we'll be meeting up with our friend Laz and his mate Dave who have been there for a few days already.

But before that, there's the small matter of packing, briefing Alastair on minding the house/cat etc and some tedious paperwork and admin.

I wasn't going to keep a blog this time as we will be re-visiting some of our previous places but it's hopefully useful for other travellers or anyone thinking of visiting this lovely part of the world. And anyway, it helps us remember where we've been!
