Hi everyone.

Today we posted 4 photos from our stay at Shaughnessy Village in Vancouver, BC. This place is not called a hotel or B&B - but it is actually a strata complex. A great place to stay on 12th just west of Oak - about 1 block from Vancouver General Hospital. The prices are very reasonable, the place is clean, people friendly - the rooms are small - about the size of a cabin on a cruise ship liner - but not too small. We have a tv, microwave, fridge, balcony, breakfast, pool, sauna, gym (huge), gardens, mini golf, billiard table, underground secure parking - all included in the low prices! We would go back in a minute - loved it! One photo shows Connie playing pool. Peter won 6 games to 2! Oh well...... Another photo shows Peter sitting in our room - as you can see it is larger than our trailer! We spent a few nights here and really enjoyed ourselves. Well worth it. The next photo shows a small portion of the wonderful gardens. The mini golf, shuffleboard, gliders, swings, waterfalls, ponds, bridges, statues, trees are so well kept and feel very tranquil. You can sit in the restaurant and look at the gardens - a very relaxing atmosphere. When we strolled the gardens it was hard to remember we were in the middle of Vancouver. You will also see me (Connie) standing next to the waterfall in the gardens. We hope you enjoyed learning about our visit as much as we enjoyed staying there.

We arrived home again over some semi rough seas on Thursday Jan 3rd. We expected some bad winds but we were lucky to make it across before the winds really picked up! Mind you we did notice the horizon going up and down quite a distance more than we preferred! But, glad to say it was not bad enough to tip the coffee cups. It was great to be away, but wonderful to be home again in our cozy trailer.

Hope all is well, Peter & Connie.
