NOTE: I'm locked down in my home in Victoria, Canada because of the COVID-19 virus, it's June 2020 and I'm finally getting back to writing my personal memories of this wonderful year of travel. I've finished writing about Ethiopia and South Africa and will be done Namibia shortly. Please let me know if you want me to inform you when all the writing is done. There is a link on the right so that you can easily email me. Cheers!

Year Six! We started out with a Five Year Plan, but if our health holds out, perhaps this will be the beginning of our Second Five Year Plan. We've grown very fond of life on the road, living out of a suitcase, avoiding housework, cooking and carrying keys. Will we be able to stay put in one place ever again?

We started Year Six in New York and then flew out of JFK on the 10th Anniversary of September 11, 2001. Our rough plan is to travel from Iceland all the way to South Africa with many, many stops in between. As in past years, we'll keep our itinerary flexible in order to take advantage of windows that open, when doors close.

If you are interested in our travels around the world, please select the appropriate journal from the menu on the top right.

You can click on the links below the Home Page Map for a detailed regional maps. This will give you a better view of our route and the cities we toured.
